Eye's opening, staring into the sky. The sun was just beginning to rise, looking around where is this, where am i? Instead of fright calmness envelop me. Making to stand up my body won't just move, my head pounding harder with every thought it tried to process. Soon dizzness set in, blood oozing from different cuts on my body. It was hard to stay awake slowly i fell back to sleep. She(fairy) had seen the boy wake up & go back to sleep. He was in a lot of pain, serves him right but on second thought flies off to look for herbs.
All the old woman thoughts was on one thing, don't want to wake up. Coming awake at the first cock crow was as annoying as the fact that the prayers well thoughts weren't answered. Using the blanket, she covered her face, the metallic sound again was heard filling her with the thoughts of last night and all telling her one thing maybe the villagers were all dead she shook fear filling her whole being . Suddenly switching her thoughts to her husband, who she fell in love & later married him he had moved to the village after the AFTERSHOCK, he was an agent and she was his cover and she had no idea of it till after he had disappeared leaving her without an offspring as that was against the rule. Sunlight penetrating the curtains filled the room with warmth. Stepping out happily, she returned every greeting with a smile. She walked towards the cathedral, entered and prayed as it was always part of her morning rite. Stepping out of the cathedral, One question still bothered her what happened last night?, and why? I couldn't just be imagining things maybe i should see the sheriff after work at the ranch but would he believe me even me won't believe me and after what i had done no one would. Sighing she decides against it confused she felt she was forgetting something important yes the light, clapping her hand in joy at the recollection it originated from among the trees near the harbor maybe i should use that part when going to the ranch. it didn't take that long before she reached the tree path, exchanging greeting with the youngsters playing among trees she moves on glancing around searchingly, her eyes rests on a boy he was laying down with red liquid on him, thinking hmm i haven't seen such a kid around before he must be a cousin or maybe a shy one seeing as he wasn't playing just sun bathing. laughing easing her anxiety it had brought back past memory when they usually pelted tomatoes on each other. Her eyes didn't take in the ragged boots. It was the time of harvest continuing on she headed for the ranch. Flying back, the fairy noticed the influx of children playing they didn't care about the boy for some reason. Icing(covering oneself with ice, makes one invisible) herself she flew past them none noticing her. She couldn't use ice before it just happened after the Escape. Applying the herb gently she looked around for prying eyes. Once in a while a kid or two come around and jokes about the tomato & grass then runs off. One kid was particular adamant continual coming around to tickle the boy. Yawning! I comes awake, both our eyes making contact at the same time, the boy laughs i smile. his sister comes over looks at me then at her brother and says andrew mom is calling us. She hated people playing possum. She(fairy) moved and the girl looked in her direction, the brother asking what's that? Stop behaving weird drew her hand and leaves. She(fairy) relaxes hmm! The girl is a mechanium she could sense me, just one today am used to seeing them a lot before. After getting the work done at the ranch, she(old woman) rested dreading to enter the house she went to the back, freeing ukie climbed his back and rode towards the village outskirts having an awkward feeling takes the path of the trees though it was longer. Reaching the path, she surveyed nothing was here, touching her head what was i even expecting. Suddenly the horse jets towards another direction cursing wondering what had gotten into ukie soon forgot about that when she say a boy sprawled out on the forest floor. Jumping down she lifts him up placing him on ukie he wasn't that heavy climbing on she glanced around it was dark, afraid of dark and the unknown they never rested till they reached the house, patting ukie seems he understood me this time he was usually stubborn unknown to her he was chasing after the fairy that was in front of him. Carrying him down she opened the house door entering she placed him on the dining table, going to the kitchen she lighten the lantern her tensed face was replaced with shock at the sight of the boy's face.
